Environment and Climate Change

The Environment & Climate Change Interest Group aims to educate on problems and work on solutions.  We want to promote clean air, water and healthy land.  This interest group continues to promote nature as teacher and to protect nature as vulnerable.

Sudbury is home to many experts in the fields of biology, botany and fish habitat.  The Regreening of Sudbury has been awarded both a United Nations prize and world admiration.

Climate Change in Northern Ontario is here.  With extreme weather events, fires, odd weather patterns, warming lakes and changing precipitation, our Interest Group hopes to help our community mitigate and adapt to these changes.
